Ok so maybe I wasnt perfectly clear when I started. I am 23 now :) and I have my own shop. I make my living working on mercedes, so cars that are difficult to work on are something that I enjoy. This is only going to be driven on weekends and never in bad weather. I have a daily driver so Im not worried about that. I am going to do all the work with my brother except the machine work on the motor, the paint and re-upholster the interior. I dont want to strip any weight from the car as I love the interior and exterior of the car stock. I am going to paint it Skunk2 black. I have not ironed out the fine details yet. My overall goal is stock appearance, 11sec or sub 1/4 and fun to drive. Money is not a problem I know that might be hard to understand but my finances for this project are ready and willing(Im guessing around 50k to totally finish the car). From the sound of everyone 500rwhp should get the job done and still give me something that a blast to drive. I am going to document the entire build so when its finished everyone will get to see it.
